Okay, guys. This will be going up on the main page later, but there are now certain categories that are off limits until we get students with other specialties.
TEMP BAN ON... TEACHER/STUDENT ROMANCES Not every teacher has to be attracted to a student (I'd hate to think the principal hired so many teachers attracted to jail bait), and since it's technically illegal and all anyways, we're going ahead and placing this ban. This may become a permanent ban later. Current teacher/student romances will not be affected.
TEMP BAN ON... RICH KIDS Tuition plans are available as are scholarships. There is also a rehabilitation program to help students succeed. You don't have to be rich to go to this school, and it defeats the purpose of rich kids being in the minority if all characters are from wealthy backgrounds. So no more for a good while, sorry.
TEMP BAN ON... VOCALS STUDENTS I know, we're having to do this again. We had gotten our numbers better, but a lot of characters have been joining with vocals as one of their classes or concentrations. Seriously, people have have more talents than just singing. With this ban in effect, absolutely no bios saying: "And he/she can sing, they just don't major in it." We need people with other concentrations and abilities.
TEMP BAN ON... TWINS We may give permission for these in special cases. You will have to pm both admins and gain approval before they can be made. We want to keep the ratio of twins in proportion to the ratio of other siblings!
TEMP BAN ON... INCEST PLOTS Well, we wouldn't think this would be an issue, but just in case... This can be any type- including sexual abuse included in characters' pasts. Not everyone had an oh-so-traumatic childhood, and most people do NOT want to date their siblings/cousins/etc. This ban may become permanent.
SUGGESTION... VISUAL ARTS, SPORTS, OR ACADEMICS. We have too many people concentrating in the music area. Yes, we have hardly any people in acting! There aren't many photographers, painters, football players, academic students, and hey-- we all need students to participate in the rehabilitation program! (Try to come up with reasons for them being there other than drugs, though. We do have a lot of druggies.)
SUGGESTION... NO R & A NAMES. We have a lot of characters whose names start with an R or with an A. Try to branch out!
SUGGESTION... TEACHERS. Make a teacher today! We have plenty of spots open and some awesome active teacher characters for them to interact with!
