PLAYER'S NAME: Meg, of course. OTHER CHARACTERS: Rome. CONTACTS: PM or through chatango. RANDOM FACT: I'm in love with Alex Pettyfer? He's like the one PB/character that always comes back for more. Even if he changes a little here and there. NAME: His father and mother came up with his name together, it was one of the main things that they ever actually did together, besides conceiving him, of course. They jointly named him Ezra Gray Jamison. ALIAS: His name was always too short for making nicknames of, though some people tend to call him by his last name... Plus, it seems to grasp his attention more. AGE: He has been the child of Mr. Jamison for seventeen years. BIRTHDAY: He was born on a beautiful August day, the 13th to be exact, of the year 1993. GENDER: Male, it just so happens. SEXUAL PREFERENCE: Heterosexual. Who could deny those ladies? OCCUPATION: Mainly, he is a student. First and foremost. On weekends, he'll help his father with the wine making of their new winery location in New York. GRADE: Ezra is in his Junior year. CONCENTRATION: Though Ezra enjoys playing a good game of rugby, and believes that he would be an amazing rugby player, he prefers to do that for fun. His main focus is on the Visual Arts of Photography and Acting [having seen a few Broadway shows while in New York] while he’s at Lux Lucis Academy. CLASS LIST: English 11, Government & Econ., Geometry, Chemistry, Acting, Photography, Rugby [Football]. HAIR: He and his father share the same wavy blonde hair that they usually let fall around their faces to the nape of their necks. Ezra has been known to shave his hair off randomly, and then grow it back before doing so again. Lately he has been keeping it short, but he's certainly not shy in letting it grow back to its original length. EYES: His eyes are a gray-blue in color, though they seem to be glazed over and clouded much of the time - not because he does drugs, it's because he rarely sleeps. HEIGHT: Being tall runs in the Jamison family, so like most of the men in his family, Ezra stands at a good six feet tall. Considering his height, his still stands a good four inches below his father. WEIGHT: Seeing as how he is a pretty active boy, and pretty muscular if you ever get the chance to see under his shirt, he weighs a good one hundred and seventy three pounds. That added to his height, and how active he is, is actually not too shabby for the rugby boy who likes to act.
Ezra can be quite the conceited seventeen year old boy, though many boys his age can be. Of course, seeing as how he was born into a family that was well endowed he's more than just being conceited due to a silly teenage phase. He is quite honestly, mentally conceited, physically conceited, and all around thinking he is superior. Simply because he was born into a lifestyle where he was very rarely ever denied something he wanted. Over time that affected him and he often wants what he wants, when he wants it. On occasion, he even wants what he knows he cannot have, but don't put it past him to try. Ezra makes a habit of getting what he wants when he wants it, and when he is refused he is often a jerk who pouts and complains until he gets what he wants. He is a salesperson at heart, simply because his father raised him around that part of his occupation, as well as the more fun parts. Ezra and his father are very close people, and Ezra being so close to the example of this kind of person he slowly came into the habits of being this kind of person. He can sell himself, and if he can sell himself he can often sell the things he wants in order to get them. Although, when he is refused or denied, he shuts down and turns off. He often becomes a jerk, or harshly sarcastic. Generally he is a quiet person, seeing as how most of the time he had to be because his father was doing business. The only time he is everything but quiet is when he is harshly sarcastic because he isn't getting what he wants. Well, that's not the only time, but that's the time where he can intentionally be a jerk. Due to spending a considerable amount of time with an older business man like his father, he can often feel inferior to most people, which leads to him being pompous. Often he thinks himself better because he has a lot of money behind what his father does for a living. Considering that, and very rarely being denied anything, it's hard to prove that he wasn't brought up in this manner. Though he was taught some manners -- though they seem to be clouded by everything else -- he knows he cannot always have everything, aside from that he is judged because of the way he carries himself. He thinks he's had the better education because he was home-school by a university professor since he was a child -- of course, his father spent a considerable amount of money to get him such a "tutor." He thinks he's smarter than most of the people he comes across -- with the exception of his tutor -- along with him thinking he's much more attractive than these Americans. Adding to that, he also believes he's the better rugby player. Of course, most people his age from England believe they are better than the Americans in everything. At least he and a bunch of the boys that were once on his team in England thought so. He often feels like he should be praised when he does something amazing. Ever since he was little he was praised for every little thing that he ever has done. So that has also grown along with him, every time he accomplishes something he feels he should be praised for doing such a good job, and if he does not, he speed dials someone who will praise him for doing a good job. Usually that person is his personal maid, Evangeline, or his tutor, Amy. His father is often too busy to care, or always doing business; so Ezra has Eva and Amy to himself to praise him when he feels he did something worth the praise. He'd do the same with his dogs Dakota, Darcey, and Limerick if they could talk.... but dogs can't talk. He has been home-schooled much of his life so he doesn't know how school systems work, very well. Being a junior at Lux Lucis Academy will be the first time he's ever been in a learning environment such as this. Often he is looked at quite strange when he isn't sure how things work in American education or schools such as this. Though, seeing as how he was home-schooled since he was a little bloke, one couldn't blame him for not knowing how the system works in America -- heck, he doesn't know how it works in England or France either. Because he has not ever been around this many people at one, he doesn't follow social cues very well. He's only ever been around his dogs [Dakota, Darcey, and Limerick], his personal maid [Evangeline], his tutor [Amy], his father, Charles, and the occasional businessmen from his father's winery. Ezra can only seem to handle being around a team, in rugby, and around only a few people when he's being social. He's only ever been around a limited and controlled amount of people, so he is often found in small groups, or with the team. Ezra doesn't commit well in relationships when it comes to having them. They never last too long, and he often calls it off when he feels it's moving too fast or there is no where else for them to go. He's only ever been in one committed relationship, but then he found out the girl was cheating on him with the person he called his best friend [his closest teammate on the field]. Since then when he feels like he's getting too hot and heavy or the girl is becoming too clingy he tends to end the relationship. Even in a relationship he often doesn't treat the girl right; he flirts with other girls, doesn't listen to the one he's with, and often ignores her when she wants to have conversations. He's also never been one to dump a girl to her face, or in public places, though. Ezra is not keen on helping people unless it suits his better interest. This is a simple one actually, if you're going to help him move forward in his success he'll help you, but if you are not contributing to his own success.... most likely, he won't assist you when you need him to. Often he judges people for what they are like on the outside and decides to speak to them based on that. He has a perceptibly good judgment on the people he would consider his friends. For instance, if one is rather attractive, and female, most likely he'll approach you and speak to you. He doesn't start off strong like most would expect. He likes to get to know people before he even thinks about them as friends, or potential girlfriends -- though he won't be committed. Ezra tends to make friends with girls more than he does with his own gender; he gets along well with girls because outside of the relationship aspect he treats them all really well. He does have a lot of good mates, though none compare to the friends he has made with the female persuasion. He loves him some girls.
Charles Michael Jamison was twenty-seven when he took over his father's winery, which was once solely located in England. The winery business had been going on for a good twenty years before Charles had succeeded his father. Charles was finishing his last year in university [he had gone back for another year in fiscal management] when his father stepped down and he stood up and took the winery into his hands. Charles had loved the ins-and-outs of the winery ever since he was a child, so he was more than happy to be running it all himself. It was easy going at first, but when his graduation rolled around he met a pretty little freshman, in her early twenties, who was an art major. They had several beers with his friends to celebrate his graduation and landing the winery. One beer led to another, slow moving flirtation led to fast paced sexual tension, which was soon being drunkenly played out in his England apartment. It had been a long time since Charles had a physical attraction to a woman, but seeing as how they were both drunk the situation wasn't all thought out. They were mindless kids, who had a bit too much to drink, that were playing on silly intentions. They were both hoping they'd never see each other again, and would never have to face humiliation... But the weeks up until his graduation this seemed to be a daily occurrence. Late nights, several drinks, and then aimlessly stumbling into the bed kissing and caressing one another. Three weeks after Charles' graduation, he started working on the winery full-time. He was quite surprised when he walked into his office and had a pretty, young girl sitting in a chair with a university sweatshirt on and short shorts. She had fine legs, and when he saw her face he recognized her instantly... But the reunion was not one on good terms. Into her second year of university, and his first three weeks of being the owner of his father's winery, he and this girl -- who he realized was a complete stranger -- were having a child. Over the course of the first few months they got to know one another, and actually came to like each other. She had been born in France, and raised there for much of her childhood until her father got a better job offer in England, which they soon found themselves. She wanted to be an artist, and she wanted to be the greatest one there ever was, and she wasn't far from being the best already. Her name was Madeleine D'Airell, and she was exactly seven years younger than Charles. After a few months of getting to know one another, they decided to wed. They both didn't want their child to be born out of wedlock, and they both knew that their parents wouldn't approve of such a situation either --- even though their parents didn't much approve of how it started to begin with. A few months later, Madeleine was giving birth to a beautiful baby boy that had a head of blond hair right from the beginning. They both decided on the name Ezra Gray, thinking it suited the gray-blue colors of his eyes. He was a beautiful child, bright and kind from the very beginning. They spoiled the wide eyed blond, and anyone who met that baby did the same. Three years had gone by, his mother was still a full-time student at the university, and his father a full-time owner of the winery -- but Charles' had more flexible hours then his young wife had. One night, Madeleine was coming home from school, and it was raining. She was trying to make the call home to tell them she was on her way, when she dropped her phone, lost control of the car on a slick spot and drove off the road, into a curb, and around a tree. Madeleine died on the spot, and just as it happened Charles had picked up the ringing phone and heard the whole thing. Ever since the death of his young wife, Charles invested himself into the winery. Growing it into a much larger franchise; into France -- his wife's birthplace, and then he started making business affairs with places like Canada, Japan, Africa, Australia, and America. Ezra was still young and was being taken care of by a nanny, named Jessica, when his father would travel to these places for personal meetings to sell his wine. During these times he would bring back special gifts for his son, even though he could get these same gifts in his own residence he thought it would be more special if they came from different places. From Canada, he brought home a small brown puppy they named Dakota, from Africa he brought back a white and black spotted stray puppy they named Darcey, and from Australia his father brought home a pure white pup they named Limerick. He was hoping that the dogs would help him learn responsibility and make friends. It did soften his son a little, but he realized that it was mostly because he was just kind to animals. Charles had hoped it would make his son more playful, adaptive, and possibly more outgoing. But Ezra remained a quite child even with the pups by his side. Charles decided, once Ezra was older that he would start bringing the boy with him when he traveled. Of course, no nannies wanted to travel with him and take care of a four year old child, so he hired a personal maid for his boy Ezra. The maid was a short stubby woman named Evangeline, and she was the only one willing to travel, plus she had seemed to have a bond with his baby boy from the beginning, because instantly Ezra attached himself to the short woman. When he became the age where he needed to start schooling he and his father were in Canada. There they met a professor from the university, named Amy, who hated settling down when she had always dreamed of traveling. She was perfect for what Charles needed. A traveling professor to teach his son, and he was willing to pay her with a lot of money. Amy took less than what Charles would have paid her, because she too had an instant bond with Ezra and teaching him and traveling was all the payment the girl said she needed. Though, Charles negotiated with her so she could at least get paid while she taught his son. When they weren't traveling Ezra joined a rugby team while he lived in England. He began playing rugby when he was nine, and stopped playing when he turned fifteen [which was when he moved to France for a short time]. He had great bonds with the boys on his team; they were the closest of friends. This group of boys did everything together, and they became great at playing ruby due to the fact that whenever they had the free time they would practice playing. Due to Charles' job, and the fact that now he liked taking Ezra along with him, Ezra would go traveling with his father to many of his main franchises. Charles would take Ezra, his personal maid, his tutor, and their three dogs. On these trips Ezra learned that he liked photography and capturing scenes. His father had gotten him a camera because the boy had asked for one. Ezra came into taking photos of nature, people, animals, and on occasion he would take breaks from playing rugby and photograph his friends playing. He enjoyed capturing moments that you may not always remember. Though, these moments seemed stronger during their travels. When Ezra was thirteen he met a girl, named Isabel. He was thirteen and he had never seen a girl look so beautiful. One day he asked her out, and she said yes. He was so excited; he was infatuated, and it was a feeling he had never known. Ezra had found his first love in a girl that had moved from France to England with her mother and two brothers. She was a beautiful brunette girl with bright green eyes. He loved Isabel, they did everything together (when he wasn’t traveling, studying, or playing rugby). They were off and on for a year before they went steady when he was fourteen. It’s not like a hot and heavy, steady, but steady for kids their age. When he was fifteen he found out that Isabel was cheating on him with his best mate, Darren. They were on the same rugby team; but after Ezra and Isabel broke up his father announced they were moving to France for a year. A few months after moving to France, his father opened a new winery in New York. Ezra began doing research on America and New York; he learned a lot of interesting things. He became quite interested in the culture and the people and the city that he was almost tempted to move there and try going to an actual school. Then he found Lux Lucis Academy’s website. Ezra liked the way the webpage looked so he checked it out. He instantly filled out an application when they had a program for photography [and it seemed to be a really prestigious one] and they had a highly resound in rugby – which is similar to what American’s call football – team. After filling out an application he convinced his father to move to New York, and seeing as how he was the son of a salesman he did a very outstanding job in selling New York and the school to his father. After a month of packing and getting prepared Charlie, Ezra, Evangeline, Amy, and their three dogs packed up and left France. Their little family moved into an apartment to the city closest to Cinders, where the Academy is positioned, during the summer before his junior year. Ezra convinced the school to allow him to sign up for dorms a bit earlier than most, of course he has no clue whom his potential roommate is, but he’s pretty sure it’ll be worth the experience. Luckily his father’s apartment is only a drive away so he can easily travel to the apartment to see his tutor, maid, dogs, and occasionally his father – if the man is there. During the summer before his junior year he did small things in New York; like walking around to learn about the people, taking pictures of things he found amazing, interning for the summer at a professional photography place just for the summer, doing things with his father for the Winery on the weekends.
On occasion he would go see a Broadway showing of whatever was in town during the week or the month, and if he liked it he would go back to see it for a second time. Slowly, due to his little adventures, he grew to loving the process of acting and taking on a role and bringing it to life on stage.
Starting at Lux Lucis Academy is like a new beginning for Ezra. He says he’s going to try to be different, and though the people he’s surrounded with hope he succeeds they have this deep feeling that he may not change the way he is. This will be his first time in a normal school setting; though he’s outwardly kind of excited, he’s inwardly scared. He’s also hoping that being in a different setting and around different people will change his act.
