Ah, James. His dorm mate was really one of a kind, and he couldn't help but be glad that they had gotten stuck together, despite their difference in grade. They understood each other's need for drugs and partying, and were mutually beneficial that way when it came to all of the powder, pills, and strips (neither of them did anything involving needles).
And now, the two of them were going to this house party in town, thrown by someone not even at their school, but by someone who was just in town, a graduate that was known for their wild parties back in the day- but now this was their house. They owned it, and they were throwing this 'house warming' party.
Grim finished off his cigarette before stomping it out on the pavement and taking in the site of the house. There were a lot of people there already. No doubt some others had let word slip, but judging by the so-called "party" back at the school, not many of these people were students. He cocked an eyebrow at James before making his way inside, pushing past the crowds in order to get to the table where everyone was playing some sort of drinking game.
Knowing how these types of parties worked, he grabbed for the vodka and poured himself a shot. He didn't care about already being on something else, besides, he'd pop another pill or two before the night was done, just to keep things interesting. He threw back two shots before looking out at the party, smiling... but when he noticed where he was looking, he was smiling at James.

On the way to the party he realized something. Something that should have been obvious to him from the start. James was really cursing himself out for not having noticed sooner. He wanted in Grim's pants, and bad.
But how did this change the jealousy he'd felt when he saw Grim kiss someone else during spin the bottle? He supposed it was still the same scenario, since he wasn't looking for anything emotional or romantic. James only wanted the other boy's body.
He and Grim smoked their respective cigarettes, then put them out and went into the house. James wasn't paying much attention to the house itself, but rather what was in it. This was what a party was supposed to look like; nothing like the lame gathering they'd left behind back at the school.
Drinking games were already in progress, and the majority of the people there already looked fucked up. This was the best time for them to show up. His eyes went to Grim as the other boy did some shots, and he watched his room mate's neck move as he drank. Well, now that he'd finally realized it, everything was obvious and made total sense.
James wanted to drag him to the nearest corner and leave bite marks and hickeys all over that column of pale skin. Fuck. He poured himself a drink in order to occupy his hands, then brought it to his lips. Tequila. Well, he was getting messed up tonight.
He wouldn't touch Grim with E working through his system --both of their systems-- so maybe that was a good thing...

The familiar feel of the drugs washed over him like waves crashing on the shore. He tore his eyes away from James and moved to the side, stepping away from the alcohol. Yes, it was definitely all taking effect. Not that the E hadn't already, but the alcohol felt intensified.
He made his way to a space on one of the couches and sat himself down. Some of the people were up, moving around, excited. And he felt somewhat excited, he supposed, but he was lazy at the same time. Perhaps he'd dance later... if he felt like it.
Right now he was just taking in the atmosphere and wild abandon of the place. He didn't envy whoever's responsibility it would be to clean up the next morning. But whatever. It wasn't his responsibility, so he didn't care. He just tilted his head back and let the noise reach his ears.
No one cared who he was here. Perhaps that was why he liked the lifestyle so much. No one cared that he was strange or different- no one asked him why he wore the makeup the way he did or why he looked unusually skinny. No, everyone was too self-absorbed, but at least they all admitted it.
He wondered briefly where James was, but reminded himself that he was dependent on his roommate. He'd been solitary before meeting him, and he would be solitary after he was gone. But for once, it was nice to feel as if he had a friend.

He went to follow Grim to the couch, but was stopped by two blondes asking him if he had any drugs on him. James looked the girls over with evident interest but shook his head. He was a drug taker, but never a dealer; he just couldn't be bothered. They gave him suggestive smiles and moved on to ask someone else. James raised a brow and went over to where Grim was sitting. He then half sat on the arm of the couch and looked around.
Grim lazily looked over the party, and when he noticed that James had sat down beside him, he seemed a bit curious. Though he'd only known his roommate for a short amount of time, he had expected him to be off, socializing a bit more. Grim managed to sit still until a guy came up beside him and started talking to him. He exchanged polite conversation (as best he could) before he was asked to dance. And, out of impulse, he looked to James, almost as if he wondered if his roommate would be bothered by it.
James did feel a smile spike of jealousy, but decided to ignore it. He was just a possessive person really, and he didn't like to share what was his. Grim was not his lover or anything like that, but he was his room mate. The tall boy shrugged one shoulder, then unintentionally looked Grim over from head to toe. "Some of my friends said they were comin'...I'll look for them then come find you..."
Grim nodded, taking that as all he needed to follow the boy that had invited him to dance into the crowd of bodies.
Dark brown eyes narrowed as they fixed on the back of the guy who'd asked Grim to dance. Bitch needed to learn to keep his hands off other people's possessions. Wow...that thought was just fucked up. Ah well. The boy rolled his head from side to side, cracking his neck, then texted his friends, asking if they were at the party yet.
