The thumping of the music, the heat of all the bodies, but still it was nowhere near the parties back home. Then again he was repeating his finally year of school for this place and coming in late to the year probably wasn't helping his case. Well, that hadn't been his fault, it was the current boyfriend of his mother at that time's fault. Of course that title had changed hands a few more times again since and the bastard was now facing charges now.
Ah, but it had got him out of almost two months of school and then another week to go on this little Halloween trip. Well maybe it wasn't so bad after all with all that considered. Leo looked around the dance floor vaguely remembering some faces while others looked completely new. That wasn't too big of a surprise to him with everyone in costume much like himself.
The tight black pants he wore looked more like they were painted on then anything else so close to his legs and everything else, while the tank he wore was torn to shreds barely hanging on by strands in some places wonderfully showing off skin and ink. His eyes, a wonderful red, flanked with golds and black on the lid and rims. Then to tie it all together were the dark blue horns sticking out through his hair that looked black in this light adding another good six inches on his height. If he was going to this little party, then he was going all out.
Though the only problem with coming to this thing alone, finding someone to play with. He clicked his nails together, those wonderful black colored nails Leo had sharpened into nice little points. Leo moved slightly with the music as he made his way through the mess of people looking for someone to take away his boredom.

Aleix had done pretty well for his costume in his opinion. Seeney Todd. He loved the musical and knew every song. "By the Sea" was his least favorite simply because it was nearly impossible to sing. Of course, that didn't matter that night. The only real changes to his costume from the film version of the musical was that Lexi had simply tied his hair back instead of using one of the wigs, and he wore a little more eye makeup than the costume actually called for, but that was more out of a comfort level than anything. It wasn't very often that Lex left his room without his makeup done up proper, which meant dark and thick. For the dance he didn't go quite as dark as normal, but it was still more so than was common for the costume. Whatever. People could just deal with it, he decided as he took a sip of the spiked punch he'd gotten earlier before Josh had been lame and took the alcoholic beverage away. As long as the annoying one didn't find out he'd spiked the punch, though, Aleix couldn't bring himself to care too much. He got his alcohol, and apparently a teacher drunk, and didn't get in trouble for it. Win/win situation there. Lexi had already had two cups of the punch before it'd been put away and could feel a slight buzz going. The party might end up having more promise than he'd originally thought. Working his way through the people in the room, Lexi had to fight the urge to pull a face at the overabundance of girlparts that were practically hanging out everywhere. He, honestly, didn't see the point in anyone dressing up like... well, that. But, that could just be him in his weirdness, he guessed. It shouldn't have shocked Lexi too much when he bumped into someone, stumbling just a bit from a mix of the alcohol coursing through his system and someone random accidentally (at least he hoped) bumping into him enough to knock him of balance. "Fuck... Shit, I'm sorry," Lexi said with slightly wide eyes before looking to see who he'd run into. He smiled apologetically, brushing the fringe of his bangs out of his eyes. "I didn't spill anything on you, did I?" Lex wasn't too sure who he'd run into, but his reaction would be about the same, no matter who it was; unless, of course, it'd been someone he just couldn't stand. That would've been another story all together. But, the generally happy teen just smiled sheepishly again, hoping he hadn't spilled anything on the guy or that the dude would get pissy. It wasn't really his fault. And he's apologized. There wasn't much else he could do. tag;; open/leo word count;; 460 notes;; ohai outfit;; -denies looking for a picture- laziness >.> credit;; graphics and form: alice. lyrics: "just a dream", nelly.

Watching other people dance, or at least what they thought they could call dancing, was better then being alone though still it wasn't much better. Honestly Halloween was a time for all girls to let out their inner whore and then get a one night stand with some vampire or some shit. Though he couldn't say that the girls running around in half the clothes they normally would bothered him, no quite the opposite. Besides he couldn't explain after putting his own outfit together, though honestly besides the horns it wasn't much different than an average everyday look for him.
Lost in his own fucked up little world, watching the boys and girls grind against each other like beasts in heat. Now should he join the mess or just continue to watch? Well, his question was answered when he felt someone collide with him. His poor tank already torn to shreds, only really hanging on by one arm after the run-in. Though that wasn't a surprise to him, he had expected the shirt to go by the end of the night and this guy had just helped that along.
He smiled at the other's apology, now wasn't he cute all worried if he would be mad. Judas put a finger against the boy's mouth to keep from continuing, if he had planned too. "Its fine," he said with that smile, "Really." His hand dropped at that not having the excuse to touch the other anymore.

The skinny teen blinked in slight shock as the other boy silenced him. Well that was unexpected. Aleix wasn't quite sure what he'd expected the boy he'd run into to react like, but still, that one was not one of them. Lexi smiled again as the barely shorter teen dropped his hand, and nodded a little. "Okay, then," the vocals student replied, speaking a little louder than normal to be heard over the music a it picked up just a little louder. That was sure to bring on a headache. Lex didn't let his discomfort at that idea show as he smiled. "Guess it's only polite to introduce myself since I ran into you. I'm Aleix." Typically he would've held his hand out toward the other student, but he couldn't be bothered to that night. Besides, his hands were too busy holding onto his cup. Or one was. The other arm was crossed over his chest, that hand clutching the opposite forearm. It wasn't anything against the guy Lexi couldn't remember if he'd met before or not. The alcohol in his system was definitely running its course. He couldn't quite decide if he was in a snuggly sort of mood as he usually was when he'd had any decent amount of alcohol or if he would just rather be left alone. He was leaning toward the first, though. Which actually kind of sucked, if he was honest, because he wasn't fully sure where his friends had run off to. Oh, well, he needed to focus on what was going on, anyway, something he had issues with even when he wasn't under the influence of alcohol. He kind of doubted the guy (did he miss the guy's name?) would want to talk to him too much longer if at all. Lex wasn't sure he'd hang around to talk to someone that'd bumped into him. He'd just continue right along and... Who was he kidding? He was too much of a friendly person to do that. He'd hang around a bit, but that was him, not someone else, so it didn't really matter what he would've done. "I don't think I know you." Aleix hadn't really meant to say that last phrase, but he felt like saying something and it was the first thing he could think of. Being lame must be a genetic defect.

Lexi wasn't religious in any sense and he never really paid attention to stories people talked about from the bible. Sure, he knew the most popular ones like the Ark, and the plagues, but past that, the boy was clueless and didn't really care. So, the other teen's name was completely lost on him, but he nodded with a smile anyway. It was a nice name, he decided, if not a bit old-school sounding. Maybe we should change locations so we can get to know each other better? Many possibilities could lead from that, and Aleix knew it pretty well, having heard the line a few times. Sometimes it was as simple as the statement was, nothing more or less. Other times it wasn't. You never really knew exactly what the other person was thinking of until you got there. Lexi was kind of to the point that he didn't care one way or another, though, and if it got him away from the loud music... "Sure, why not?" he agreed with a smile, brushing his bangs out of his eyes before gesturing toward one side slightly. "Gonna pick a new location or should I?" Aleix was more than ready for an excuse to get out of the crowded room that was a bit too warm for his liking -or maybe that was the alcohol. Still, it was an excuse to leave and get away from the masses and not be alone at the same time, for however that lasted, but still. It was better than going up to the room to chill out and drink alone, how pathetic would that be? Aleix was not ready for that kind of social low. He was too young for that, and as long as he had a way of avoiding that kind of thing, he was good.

Pale blue eyes scanned the crowd from a secluded spot, the owner refraining from joining in on the grinding of bodies against bodies, avoiding all contact with any of the others here. Her pale hands were folded beneath her chin, her head resting on them as she continued to watch her fellow classmates making fools of themselves. As she felt the pounding music in her chest she wondered why she had come to this in the first place, she hated events like these, it was too loud, too crowded. But the answer to why she had wandered down here, not bothering to dress in anything other then her normal everyday clothes, black skinny jeans, a t-shirt, and hoodie. She was bored.
Boredom, what a terrible fickle thing, a curse inflicted upon an individual, something that drove them to do things that they normally wouldn't. Like coming down to a room packed with bodies, bodies that seemed to be living off of the physical contact they were gaining, when the afflicted person liked very much to keep to themselves and avoid any type of touch. Rayne sighed, though of course something as quiet as that would be lost immediately to the racket going on around her. It wasn't even good music.
Finally she gave up, she was just as bored here as she had been up in her room, at least it was quiet there. Silently she pulled her hood over her head as she stood fluidly, eyes locked on the exit, and she began the treacherous journey of weaving between bodies. She kept her head down, she knew she could slip out of here without being noticed, she just had to keep her head down. She was almost there, she could smell the freshness of the air just outside the exit from where she was, her stride grew faster as she continued to snake her way through the crowd. However before she could reach that exit another body collided with hers, knocking her smaller frame back and down to the ground.
"Bloody hell." She sat stunned for a moment, her hood falling down to rest again on her shoulders. Her bright blue orbs rose to look up at the owners of the two sets of feet she had just fallen at.

For the first while Rome had taken occupancy in the rest room in the hotel. She was looking herself up and down furiously as she wore the light blue dress that was of her costume. In the costume her body seemed much tanner than it really was, and her shoulders seemed broad; honestly, Rome looked and felt more feminine than she even acted. For the first time in a while she brushed out her curly hair to even it all our and let it flow around her face, her eyes were dusted with a gold shadow, her lips glossed, and atop her head was a headdress that belonged with the costumed. She adjusted the arm band and the halter around her neck of the top she was wearing. She felt utterly ridiculous as she straightened the top over her bust and laid the ribbon flat across her stomach.
She bit her bottom lip as she looked at herself again, holding the skirt as she walked out the rest room in her gold five inch heels. Rome hadn’t ever looked this good in her life, ever since she was a child she wore old stained or ripped clothing, never had she worn such nice tresses, even if it was just a costume for this one specific night. The bag in which the costume came in called it the Playboy Cleopatra Costume, and though it did seem to work for the Playboy name she felt it covered her better than it would for someone with much bigger breasts than hers. Although it did seem to give easier visual and access than she preferred.
Andromeda walked down the stairs and entered the room in which the dance was being held. She looked around at all the teens who were grinding and sweating against one another to shitty music, all wearing costumes and holding cups of punch in their hands. They all looked so ridiculous, and now that she truly thought about it she looked ridiculous as well. After she took a few sips from her cup of punch she danced with some random people on the dance floor, her body instantly becoming hot as the room was filled with overactive teens and their hormones.
Suddenly, the girl needed some air. She maneuvered her way past some teacher and some kids she had class with, but then collided with a group of people. Another from her class, dressed as, what? Sweeney Todd? And another, well, she may have seen him in the halls before? Of course in the dark he didn’t look familiar to her at all. And then there was one on the floor looking up at him. Rome couldn’t resist the laughter that fell from her glossy lips, “Are you making her kiss your toes and having him come to your every whim, Demon?” Rome smiled up at the tattooed figure whose shirt seemed to be falling off. Appropriate, no? This seemed way too orchestrated to be real but Rome stood there her face contorted in a half smile and concerned for the well-being of the Lux Lucis student body.
“Wow, just wow.” Was all she could manage to make come out of her mouth as she looked away and contemplated on moving on and ignoring this heap of random outcasts. “Wow,” she nodded and rolled her eyes.

Aleix was highly aware of the fact he wasn't exactly sure what he was getting himself into, but that didn't bother him too much. Pretty much anything would be more fun and a better option than the dance in his point of view. "Who could pass that up?" he replied as he followed the other boy's tugging. Lexi stumbled a little along the way, not surprisingly seeing as he wasn't the most graceful, dropping his cup into a trash can as they passed it, only to stop as there was another collision, this time sending some unfamiliar girl to the floor. After watching her for a few moments, Lexi finally remembered the polite thing to do when someone fell, and he asked, "Are you--?" His question was interrupted by a familiar voice and Aleix looked to Rome. Her costume probably shouldn't have surprised him, but it did. Predictably something that didn't cover much. Every girls ideal Halloween costume. Ick. Really were those types of costumes needed? Of course not, but they were the most popular. Lex might not be as against more risque costumes if the female form interested him at all, and he knew that; but, as it was, girls' figures pretty much just repulsed him and he didn't like to see more of it than he had to, thank you. Lexi wanted to make a comment on the costume, to compliment her because she did look nice despite the little amount of material covering her; but, he didn't actually say anything because he knew it wouldn't come out nice. Lexi laughed softly at her comment about the girl on the floor kissing Judas's feet. Rome really could be pretty amusing at times, if not a bit of an attention seeker. That opinion of here still hadn't changed. The tall, skinny boy's gaze fell back to the girl on the floor and he made note that she wasn't wearing a costume. What was the point in even bothering to show up at a Halloween dance and not wear a costume? Didn't that just ruin the whole point? Lexi didn't even really want to be there anymore, but even he had dressed up. "Did you forget something while getting ready?" he asked her, managing to stay nice instead of asking practically the same thing in a much less polite way. He crossed his arms and looked toward the door, contemplating just leaving anyway, despite being stopped by the little collision. tag;; group word count;; 410 notes;; laaaaame. outfit;; -denies looking for a picture- laziness >.> credit;; graphics and form: alice. lyrics: "just a dream", nelly.

She felt the heat rise in her cheeks as she realized her situation and embarrassment set in, she normally wasn't clumsy but with this many people in a confined space doing who knows what one was bound to get into some trouble. Escape had been all she was looking for and instead she found herself unknowingly interrupting something, it was just her luck to do so as well. She dropped her eyes to the ground only to see another pair of feet appear before her, these clad in gold heels. Biting down on her lip she glanced up to see yet another girl dressed in some costume that left little to the imagination. She let out a quiet sigh wondering just what she had gotten herself into this time.
The girl's words struck a chord of anger in her but she just hid it behind a small smile as she rose from the ground, her calm outer demeanor making her seem unperturbed by the comment. "Actually I think I'll leave that to you. You can probably do a better job anyway right love?" She kept her voice just loud enough to be heard over the racket that was passing as music, her English accent embellishing her somewhat musical voice.
Her attention then turned to the boy that had apparently found this girl's comment amusing. She fixed him with icy eyes, pondering his question for a moment. Honestly she didn't find her lack of a costume all that strange but apparently the rest of the general population did. "I don't believe I forgot anything, I just didn't feel the need to dress like a cheap tramp." It was a satisfying enough answer, one that made sense, but really it wasn't the truth. Why did one need to dress up when they already put on a mask daily? Sure on the outside she seemed fine, a bit cold and distant, but normal just preferring to live without much company from others. On the inside though, ha, she was a nervous wreck, shattered. Pathetic was the only thing she could thing of when looking in the mirror each morning, weak and useless. Even now she couldn't keep her gaze from shifting to the nearby exit every few seconds, the exit she wished she could just disappear through and vanish from the thoughts of those that surrounded her now. Pathetic indeed.

Rome smiled softly and nodded at Aleix; it was the nice thing to do since she recognized the kid from three of her classes. If he was in more of them she didn’t pay enough attention to detail to notice the strikingly strange boy. He confused Rome sometimes simply because he seemed so much like a female that it kind of frightened her, but at least he was being himself for the most part, that was always a good thing; even if she still found him quite strange anyway. The boy always wore such dark makeup, and Rome always felt, over the past two months, seeing him almost every day, that the boy just needed to take the cake off his face at least once… But who was she to suggest such a thing, therefore she never did.
Rome looked down at the girl for a moment, as the girl began to stand, enough to hear her comment before the taller tattooed man. She rolled her eyes and smirked, “I don’t kiss shoes, because I don’t give enough fuck about people to kiss their rancid ass feet. But you can, if you like.” Rome refrained from saying anything else, she had a feeling that whatever she said would be kind of bitchy and this girl looked like she’d be one to fight back. Rome honestly didn’t want to get into that on this particular night; especially wearing the ridiculous costume she had on. Why had she decided to come as this anyway?
Before she looked back at the tattooed boy who was losing his shirt she had to push off some other tattooed boy – a blond wearing a loincloth – that decided to randomly start grinding against her. He obviously had gotten into the spiked punch before the teachers realized it was spiked. “Touch me again you mother fucker and I’ll rip whatever is under that fucking loincloth off of you,” she muttered as she pushed the figure away and looked up at the other tattooed guy that had taken a hold of her tassels. Good grief, what was with all the tattooed people around here?
Rome put on a soft smile again, and looked at the boy. She looked at Lex, who looked bored with the group that the other boy had created, realizing they were probably going to a more private spot, seeing as how the older looking boy had that kind of look on his face and tone to his voice. “I wouldn’t want to be a third wheel,” she winked at the boy, “Or get in the way of you two.” Of course it did appeal to her better judgment to leave the main dance area, seeing as how that was her original plan to begin with.

When the girl commented back to Rome, Aleix couldn't help but smile a little. He had no doubt the girl from his writing class would have some sort of rebuttal, and he wasn't disappointed. It wasn't quite what he'd expected from her, but it was still kind of amusing anyway. When the girl that had been on the floor looked back to him and answered, his pierced eyebrow rose slightly in amusement. "So, don't? It's a costume dance. Nowhere does it say you've gotta dress like a 'tramp'. Why even bother showing up if you're not going to try?" Really, he could just not see the point in it. If you were going to waste your time going to a stupid dance you should at least stick with the theme of it. Otherwise, there wasn't point in going at all, really. Lexi's thoughts turned from the weird girl to Rome as she pushed away some drunken guy (oops) that had come up to her and... something. He wasn't exactly sure what the dude in the loincloth had done because he'd not seen it; he'd only seen Rome's reaction. Should he feel bad about the fact the guy might've gotten into the spiked punch? Maybe just a little, but he didn't at the moment. Lex honestly didn't care about too much right then. Except for getting out of that room. Leaving the room was definitely high priority at the moment. Anything else was just second string. Why was he hanging around again? He wasn't friends with anyone in the little group and was starting to lose interest in whatever 'fun' Judas had had in mind. "Mmm," Lexi replied with a non-committal hum. If Judas wanted to go off with Rome, he wouldn't be all that put out but Lexi was fairly sure whatever the elder boy had in mind wasn't something he'd be interested in having Rome joining in on. No matter what was going to end up going on, Lex decided he was going to be out those double doors in the next few minutes. He couldn't really think of anything to say, though, so he just remained quiet instead. tag;; group word count;; 360 notes;; laaaaame-er outfit;; -denies looking for a picture- laziness >.> credit;; graphics and form: alice. lyrics: "just a dream", nelly.

This little dance had got horribly amusing horribly fast. Little miss on her ass, well was once on her ass, throwing around her attitude at Aleix. Then little miss skimpy growling at some blond boy that seemed to come out of nowhere to the tattooed covered boy who was only really paying attention to the little group he had somehow created.
The only problem, this wasn't what he wanted or at least not right now. He had already made up his mind on how the night would go and according to him, that is how the night should flow. Others, well others could find their own damned things to do for the night.
"Mmm, quite right," replied now just trying to put his night back on the right track, his track. Well, now was as good a time as any to put it back that way. Judas's hand slid over the other boy's arm again with a smile, "Well then are you coming along or am I dragging you along?"
