Dominic is a music nut. He loves music and loves make as well as listen to it. He relates everything to a song and everything can be expressed through music. He does not discriminate between genera’s of music he is down for anything. Dominic is like that in life as well. He is down for anything you throw at him and is always open to new ideas or friends.

However, Dominic has the flaw of selfishness. He tends to think about him first and others last. He is shallow as well. Dominic also has some rebellion in him. He does not like to listen to his parents mostly. He normally ignores their rules or comments to him, particularly when they bring up his sneaking out in the middle of the night. He also has a very short temper that often runs away with him.

Dominic is horrible with English. Though he makes up by being a wonderful magician, he likes to act. He is in his school’s drama club and likes to go out for the leads, mostly because he thinks he is the best. Though Dom is short tempered which often gets in the way of him getting his part. He is well known for being a hot head.

Dominic was born to Lauren and Michel Kay. Lauren had been only eighteen when she had married her thirty-year-old teacher and two years later Dominic came along. Sadly, the marriage ended not long after Dominic’s birth. Dominic always felt he was the reason for their parents divorce, like most kids do, but it made Dominic irrational and short-tempered. It would be a topic the school councilors all talk to him about, but he would never listen. Dominic became known quickly as the bad boy, which was not helped by his short temper. The only person who seemed to calm Dominic down was his mother’s best friend’s daughter, Lara. There was a clear connection between Lara and Dominic even as children.

In middle school, Lara and Dominic finally started to go out. They told everyone they were boyfriend and girlfriend and their parents were proud and had already begun plotting their marriage. However, in sixth grade everything changed. A boy named Simon moved into town and there was an instant connection between Lara and Simon. The moment Lara and Simon locked eyes it was as if Dominic and Lara had been but a dream. Dominic completely lost his head. He became angry, lashing out at anyone and everyone who came near him and when he was near Lara and Simon it only got worse.

In their freshmen year, Dominic and Simon had an all out fight on the side of the road. Lara tried to stop them but the two were too angry and wild they did not pay attention. Simon had stumbled back and went to stop his fall when he pushed Lara into traffic as a truck came around the corner. Lara lived, her legs were broken, she spent six months learning to walk again, and Dominic was sent to Juvie for assaulting both Simon and Lara. Though it was Simon’s fault for what happened to Lara, the blame was put on Dominic. Moreover, when he got back to school Dominic was feared. Finally through having to see Lara and Simon making out in the hallways as he was blamed for Simon’s mistake Dominic started looking at other schools

Lucky for Dominic is parents were loaded and when he found the school, he was pleased to find that he could get in at a moments notice. He packed his bags and started his sophomore year at Lux. Dominic was glad to be away from his hometown in Texas and was perfectly happy to be free of the whispers and mutterings of his past.
